If they see that reading is valued within the family then they are more likely to want to read themselves. If you are reading then it it is more likely that your child will sit beside you and want to read a book or even want you to read to them.

There are an array of books that children can borrow from the library. This gives them a range of text to explore, discuss and become part of.
